Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

It is a fragment of the volcanic crater rim, that has been eroded away, revealing complex strata that will give geologists more information on this volcano, which last erupted some 1800 years ago. Snaefellsjokull first erupted some 700, 000 years ago and has been capped with a glacier for much of that time. It is famous as the entrance to the centre of the Earth in Jules Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth"."
