Solstice celebrations. Mountain fires in Ehrwald, Tyrol, Austria, as part of the celebrations of the summer solstice (21 June) and the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The mountain fires are depicting symbols, some (such as the crosses) relating to Christianity. The mountain at right is Ehrwalder Sonnenspitze (2417 metres) in the Mieminger Range, part of the Northern Limestone Alps. Photographed on 23 June 2012.
