Artist's Description
Simulated nuclear fuel flask accident. This simulation is to prepare local people if a similar accident should occur involving a train transporting a flask of nuclear fuel. Here, the train transporting the flask (at right) has derailed, causing the flask to overturn and explode. If this were an actual event, the explosion would release the nuclear fuel into the surrounding area. This simulation is important to ensure that everyone knows the correct emergency response procedure.
