Second World War submarine production. Shipyard worker using a wrench during the construction of a US submarine in the Second World War (1939-1945). Another submarine is seen in the background. This shipyard is managed by the Electric Boat Company, and is part of the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, Connecticut, USA. Photographed in August 1943.
