Radioactive handling. Technician using levers to control a robot arm, which is handling plutonium radioactive material in a sealed chamber behind the glass screen. This type of equipment is used to remotely handle highly radioactive objects. The sealed chamber is held at a pressure less than that of the atmosphere to ensure that no radioactive material is released in the event of a breach.
