Description
The summits of the Churfirsten peaks emerge from a sea of fog. On the left side the surface of the fog layer is at about 2000 metres above sea level, whereas the peaks reach around 2300 metres. The Churfirsten mountains are made up mainly by limestone layers which are tilted, du to Alpine tectonic deformation, towards the north.
