Moche vase. Erotic Moche sculpture in the shape of a vase. Erotic sculptures like this were usually used in fertility rites. The vase was found at a Moche archaeological site in Peru. The Moche were a pre-Hispanic people that lived in coastal river valleys in northern Peru. Their civilisation reached its height in the period from 100-700 AD.
