Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin with a key role in the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system, and for blood formation. Atoms (spheres) are colour-coded: carbon (grey), hydrogen (white), cobalt (bright blue), nitrogen (pale blue), oxygen (red), and phosphorus (yellow).
