A DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) microarray includes thousands of genetic markers assembled in an array, allowing many genetic tests to be carried out simultaneously in parallel. This DNA microarray cartridge is a component of the Genome-Wide Human SNP Array 6.0 GeneChip, launched in 2007 by US company Affymetrix.
