Luxor Hotel. Pyramid-shaped resort hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. It was built in 1993 and contains 2256 rooms with sloping walls and balconies on the inside. The pyramid is 107 metres high. The different floors are reached by inclinators, which are elevators that travel up sideways at an angle. It is crowned with one of the world's brightest beams of light, which provides a striking landmark at night in the Las Vegas desert. Inside the atrium of the pyramid is a life-size reconstruction of the Great Temple of the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses II. The pyramid was designed by architect Dan Juba.
