Description
MODEL RELEASED. Purification of proteins and peptides. Chemist uses low pressure preparative chromatography equipment in a laboratory to purify proteins and peptides. This is a form of liquid chromatography, a technique used to separate out mixtures of biological molecules. The sample to be purified is mixed in a liquid and passed at low pressure through a column. The column separates the sample into component parts as different size molecules pass through at different rates. The purified fractions are collected separately.
