Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Lorenzo Lorraine Langstroth (1810-1895), US apiarist. Langstroth trained as a minister, serving as a pastor in Congregational churches in Massachusetts. In his spare time, he took up beekeeping (apiculture) and became renowned for his knowledge of beekeeping. He invented a movable frame beehive (patented 1852) that is called the Langstroth hive in his honour. His publications include 'The Hive and the Honey-Bee' (1853) and 'Langstroth on the Honey Bee' (1860). His residence from 1859, Langstroth Cottage, in Oxford, Ohio, was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1976. His papers from the period 1885-1895 are held at the American Philosophical Society.
