Description
Refraction. Computer artwork of white light being refracted as it passes through two equilateral triangular prisms. Light changes direction, or is refracted, when it meets a different transparent medium such as a prism. An equilateral triangular prism disperses the white light into its component colours, producing the colour spectrum.
