Artist's Description
A universal lens holder allows the use of various optics, not only this convex lens, to be used in a setup. Various focal lengths - both convex and concave - can be compared. The wooden optical bench allows for fairly precise experiments in the classroom and consists of a 1.5 meter rail on which carriages are placed against a millimeter scale. Holders for light sources, lenses and screens are placed on the apparatus so that image formation can be observed.
