Left to right at the front are professors Harvey Cushing (1869-1939), Howard Kelly (1858-1943), William Osler (1849-1919), and William S. Thayer (1864-1932). Osler, an internist, and Kelly, a gynaecologist, were two of the founding physicians of the school. Photographed at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, USA.
