Description
Light bulb efficiency. Sankey diagram showing the efficiency of an incandescent light bulb. An incandescent bulb contains a tungsten filament inside the glass bulb, which glows when an electric current passes through it. Only 10% of the energy produced is light, the rest is heat. A Sankey diagram is a flow diagram in which the width of the arrows is proportional to the flow quantity.
