Horse-drawn mechanical harvesters in use near Adelaide, Australia. In right background the threshed grain from a full machine is being put into sacks. The use of such combine harvesters on huge acreages in Australia, Canada and the United States produced cheap grain, and its import depressed grain prices in Britain. Engraving, 1886.
