A Tektronix Type 545A oscilloscope on display in the Space Walk of Fame museum in Titusville, Florida. An oscilloscope is an electronic test instrument for measuring and displaying varying signal voltages as a graphical two-dimensional plot as a function of time. The Type 545 was produced, with various different displays, from 1955 to 1974. This item was used as a test instrument in the early US space programme.
