Fluorescent deconvolution micrograph of a capillary (running diagonally downwards from upper right) taken from heart muscle (myocardium) in a ventricle of a heart failure patient following ventricular unloading. Actin fibres in the smooth muscle of the capillary wall are red, those in the myocardium are green.
