Description
Hand biometrics. Conceptual computer artwork of a hand with printed electronic circuitry. This could represent the use of computer circuits to process and store biometric data. The most common form of biometrics (body measurements) carried out on the hand is the taking of fingerprints. Fingerprints are unique to individuals, allowing them to be used to identify people. Computer technology has allowed the data in fingerprints to be digitised, speeding up the process of comparing them to allow identification.
