Glial brain cells, fluorescence deconvolution micrograph. Glial cells form one of the support tissues in the brain. Fluorescent dyes have been used to highlight cellular structures. Mitochondria are seen as yellow and orange. They are structures within cells that carry out biochemical processes to provide energy for the cell.
