Description
Glasgow Science Centre (GSC) at night. The GSC consists of three buildings at Pacific Quay on the bank of the River Clyde, Glasgow, Scotland. The centrepiece is the Science Mall (arch, centre), with four floors housing hundreds of interactive exhibits. The Glasgow Tower (right), a 100-metre- high tower, is the first that revolves fully from the ground up. The final building (far left) is an IMAX theatre with a 350-seat auditorium and a 25 by 18 metres screen, the largest in Scotland. The GSC opened in June 2001, and was funded by the Millennium Commission as part of the millennium celebrations.
