Artist's Description
Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) and Burchell's Zebra (Equus quagga burchellii) at sunset on the plains near Namutoni. The giraffe is the tallest living land animal. It can grow to a height of 5.5 metres and weigh over a tonne. It feeds mainly on the twigs and leaves of trees. The Burchell's zebra (Equus quagga burchellii) is usually found in large herds. Photographed in Etosha National Park, Namibia.
