Description
Focke-Wulf fighter plane factory. US Army Quartermaster troops inspecting Focke-Wulf (FW-190) fighter planes at a factory in 1945 in Oschersleben, Germany. The FW-190 was a single-seater fighter aircraft that was widely used by German forces during the Second World War. The AGO Flugzeugwerke factory in Oschersleben was a key target of Allied bombing. The Western Allied invasion of Germany took place from 22 March to the German surrender on 8 May 1945. The remains of the AGO factory were blown up by the Red Army in 1947.
