First landing of plane on a ship. Eugene B Ely's Curtiss pusher biplane landing on the deck of USS Pennsylvania. This was the first time an aeroplane had landed on a warship. Photographed at anchor in San Francisco Bay, California, USA, on 18th January 1911.
