Description
Filming with artificial snow at night. The snow has been formed by adding water to a base product such as shredded paper or a polymer powder. The water adds bulk to the base material, forming a realistic artificial snow. This artificial snow is produced by Snow Business International Ltd, a company that has produced snow and winter effects for the film industry since 1982. Their products include SnowCel (based on paper) and Instant Snow (based on a polymer). This film set is in Ghent, Belgium, for the film Pietje Bell. Photographed in April 2002.
