Extrasolar planetary system. Computer artwork of planets which have been found orbiting the Sun-like star HD 10180, 127 light-years from Earth in the constellation Hydrus. So far five planets have been discovered but there is evidence to suggest at least two more may be present. Evidence has also been found that shows the distances of the planets from their star follow a regular pattern similar to our own solar system. Image based on data acquired using the HARPS spectrograph, attached to ESOâ??s 3.6-metre telescope at the La Silla Observatory, Chile.
