Description
Electropolished stainless steel, coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM). This surface shows significantly fewer bacteria and biofilms compared to a non-polished surface (see image C021/4969). Electropolishing is an electrochemical process used to remove material from metal surfaces. Magnification: x5000 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
