Eco tissue. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of Eco tissue structure. Eco tissue is made from 90% sugar cane and only 10% woodpulp. It requires less processing than tissue made from recycled paper. It saves trees, and it saves on the amount of energy used in its manufacturing process. Most tissue is made from highly processed wood fibre; Eco tissues are made almost entirely from sugar cane. The tissue is also free of chlorine bleach, inks, dyes and perfumes. Magnification: x 100 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
