Mangled wreckage of a car pulled from a destroyed building in front of another partially destroyed building, Mexico City. Damage sustained during the earthquake of 19th September 1985. The earthquake measured 8. 1 on the Richter scale. The epicentre occurred in the Pacific Ocean. Loss of life & damage to property were exceedingly high.
