Eacles ormondei peruviana moth. This moth is a member of the subfamily Ceratocampinae. Its patterned brown wings act as a means of camouflage, in order to evade predators. This moth is found mainly at elevations of 200-1200 metres in the tropical rain forests of Central and South America. Specimen obtained in Petit-Saut, French Guiana.
