Dragon spacecraft at SpaceX headquarters. SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies) is a private US aerospace and space transport services company. It was founded in 2002 and has developed the Falcon rockets and the Dragon spacecraft. There are several versions of the Dragon spacecraft, ranging from an uncrewed version to supply the International Space Station, to the Crew Dragon intended for human spaceflight, and the Red Dragon for planned future expeditions to Mars.
