Diamond Miners metal print by Patrick Landmann.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description

Finsch Diamond Mine, South Africa. A team of miners prepares to drill into the rockface (right) in order to introduce explosives. Finsch Mine was originally an opencast mine, but production now comes from underground mining beneath the original pit. It exploits an area of kimberlite, which an igneous rock sometimes found to contain diamonds.
