Artist's Description
Light micrograph of a sagittal section of a rabbit cerebellum section stained with haematoxylin and eosin. In each cerebellar folia the white matter axis is covered by the cerebellar cortex with its typical molecular and granular layers. The presence of a thin external granular layer at the surface of the folia indicates that it is an immature cerebellum. The scale bar corresponds to 2 mm.
