Car factory production line. Car assembly line workers constructing a car in the USA in the 1920s. Car production line assembly methods were pioneered by the Ford Motor Company. By 1914, the assembly process for the Model T had been streamlined to a production time of 93 minutes. This photograph, dating from 7 May 1923, is from the Detroit Publishing Company.
