Artists's impression of the Voyager 1 spacecraft leaving Saturn after its encounter with the planet in November 1980. The spacecraft was accelerated by the slingshot effect of its encounter with the planet onto a course that will take it out of the Solar System, heading towards the constellation of Ophiuchus.
