Apollo 16 moon walk. Reproduction from a colour television transmission of US astronaut John Watts Young (born 1930), commander of the Apollo 16 lunar landing mission, during the first Apollo 16 extravehicular activity (EVA) on the moon. Astronaut Charles Moss Duke (born 1935), lunar module pilot, is standing in the background. Recorded from a television camera mounted on the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), on 21st April 1972.
