Description
Apollo 12 lunar module preparations. Lunar Module (LM) 6, scheduled for the Apollo 12 lunar landing mission in November 1969, being moved to an integration work stand in the Kennedy Space Center's (KSC) Manned Spacecraft Operations Building. Apollo 12 took place from 14-24 November 1969. It was the second manned mission to land on the Moon, with Charles 'Pete' Conrad and Alan Bean descending to the lunar surface on 19 November 1969. The third crew member, Richard Gordon, remained in lunar orbit in the command module. Photographed on 23 June 1969, at the KSC, Florida, USA.
