Artist's Description
An electrical transformer is a passive electrical device. The process of electromagnetic induction is created by the alternating current in the primary coil producing a current in the secondary coil. It can be used to increase or decrease the current and, in this set up, it is measured by an analogue alternating current ammeter suitable for school use. The windings on the coils are made of copper of different gauges.
