Airship medical cure. 19th-century illustration of a proposal to use airships for medical cures. The artwork is by French illustrator Albert Robida (1848-1926), and was published in his futuristic work 'Le Vingtieme Siecle' ('The Twentieth Century', 1883). An early example of science fiction or speculative fiction, it was part of a trilogy describing the effects of future inventions. The airship is marked 'Cures d'air' and 'Pension Bellevue', and is travelling over a mountainous region.
