Description
Aircraft contrails and cirrus clouds over a rural landscape. Aircraft contrails (condensation trails) are artificial clouds formed from frozen water droplets from the exhaust of the engines of an aircraft flying at high altitude in air nearly saturated with moisture. The clouds are cirrus spissatus clouds. Photographed near sunset on a July evening over Berkshire, UK.
