A Russian Ilyushin IL76 on the blue ice runway at Union Glacier, Southern Ellsworth mountains, Antarctica. Around a 1000km from the South Pole, this summer camp is resupplied by Ilyushin aircraft form Punta Arenas in Chile. The camp operates over the polar summer months .
