Air Force mid-air refuelling. Air Refuelling Operator controlling the refuel systems from the cockpit of the RAAF's (Royal Australian Air Force's) new KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport aircraft, while a member of the RAAF refuels an F/A-18 (on screen) from the KC-30A. The Air Refuelling Operator can view the refuelling in real-time on 2D and 3D screens. Photographed near Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, on 13th February 2013, during Cope North 13. Cope North is an annual air combat tactics, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise designed to increase the readiness and interoperability of the U.S. Air Force, Japan Air Self-Defense Force and Royal Australian Air Force.
