Description
Contraception. A diaphragm used for contraception purposes. This is a hemispherical dome of thin rubber with a metal spring in the rim. It fits diagonally across the front wall of the vagina with the top part of the rim up behind the cervix. The diaphragm must be used together with a spermicidal agent and be left in place for six hours after intercourse.
