Earth. Computer artwork, based on satellite data of the Earth from space. North is at top. Green shows vegetated areas. The image is centred on South America. The Andes mountain range runs the full length of the west coast of South America. In northern South America and to the east of the Andes is the Amazon rainforest. To the north of South America is the Caribbean, Central America and North America. To the east is the Atlantic ocean. South of the Atlantic Ocean is Antarctica. To the west of South America is the Pacific Ocean.
