Description
Coloured frontal X-rays of the left knee of a 58 year old female patient six weeks apart (oldest X-ray at left). There is a worsening of the narrowed spacing of the femorotibial joint due to osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease that results from the breakdown of joint cartilage and the underlying bone, resulting in joint swelling, pain and a decreased range of motion.
