London Eye, on the south bank of the River Thames, Lambeth, London, UK. The London Eye, previously known as the Millennium Wheel, is an observation wheel that rotates to raise its passenger capsules 135 metres above the ground, giving views over London. It was designed by architects David Marks and Julia Barfield, and was opened in 2000.
