Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of Capnocytophaga ochracea DF-1; Gram-negative, gliding rod or filamentous prokaryote. C. ochracea is a canine or feline oral pathogen that is a zoonotic microorganism. It can be transmitted from dog to man through a dog bite; causes septicaemia and periodontitis in humans. Magnification: x2,810 when shortest axis printed at 25 millimetres.
