3d coloured computed tomography (CT) angiogram of the pelvis and upper legs of a 64-year-old male patient with a right iliac artery blocked by calcified fatty plaques (atheroma, arrows). Although smaller blood vessels are continuing to supply blood to the femoral (thigh) artery the blood flow is still severely reduced.
