Artist's Description
MODEL RELEASED. Radiotherapy. Patient being prepared for radiotherapy. Laser cross-hairs are being aimed onto the site of her brain tumour. Once targeted, a radiotherapy machine will focus radiation at the tumour. The radiation will stop the tumour's growth and hopefully destroy it. Brain tumours are abnormal growths in or on the brain that may or may not be cancerous. However, the pressure build-up they cause can be extremely serious and so they must be destroyed using radiotherapy.
